Government COVID-19 Recovery Plan published
The Government published its COVID-19 recovery strategy on 11th May with the aim of the plan to “return life to as close to normal as possible, for an many people as possible as fast and fairly as possible in a way that avoids a new epidemic, minimises lives lost and maximises, health, economic and social outcomes”. Social distancing is still essential but people who cannot work from home are being encouraged to return to work if their workplace is open and people can now spend longer outside.

Bounce back loans for small businesses
From 4th May businesses can apply for Bounce Back loans, new 100% government backed loan scheme for small business. Businesses will be able to borrow between £2,000 and £50,000 and access the cash within days and loans will be interest free for the first 12 months.
