Hampshire County Council have approved proposals relating to on-street parking to ensure services are delivered consistently across the county and ‘on a full cost recovery basis’.
This means that that the way services are currently provided could change including the introduction of charges for on-street parking. This could include parking on Fleet Road as well as surrounding residential roads where on street parking is currently free for a limited time.
The proposal is for changes to come in to force in April 2020.
In advance of the formal consultation process the Fleet Business Improvement District (BID) is keen to hear your views on the introduction of charges for on street parking for your business.
