FACCTS (Fleet and Crookham Churches Together in Schools) are running an ‘In Search of Christmas trail’  event. In Search of Christmas is a fun, Christmas-themed treasure trail, in the Fleet and Church Crookham area, aimed at families with children. Action Fraud PayPal Warning

Action Fraud is warning people selling items online to be on the lookout for criminals sending fake PayPal emails. Between January 2020 and September 2020, 21,349 crime reports were made to Action Fraud about fake PayPal emails. Victims reported losing a total of £7,891,077.44 during this time. Those targeted included people selling jewellery, furniture and electronics via online marketplaces. Reports of fake PayPal emails to Action Fraud made up a third of all reports of online shopping and auction fraud during this period.

Ready to roll – Hart’s new bike jump track officially opened  A new, larger bike jump track with graded trails was officially opened this week at Edenbrook Country Park by Councillor John Kennett, Chairman of Hart District Council. The country park’s ‘active area’ already included a recently opened pump track, a purpose-built bike track with peaks and troughs and steeply banked corners for bike riders to test their skills. This latest addition completes the offering and sets the Country Park on course to becoming a beacon for recreational open space.
