We have an amazing line up of expert chefs and cooks to educate, inspire and
delight you. They’ll be demonstrating the skills and creating some wonderful
dishes that you’ll also be able to taste at the end of the session.

Saturday 23rd June

12.00pm - Shoba Aziz, Raysindian

The award winning restaurant Raysindian has an contemporary approach to traditional indian food. Its cuisine fuses authentic spices and ingredients from the subcontinent to produce exciting modern indian cooking at its best. Traditional spices are hand selected and blended in house to create fragrant combinations to delight your senses. Every mouthful is bursting with a variety of tastes and flavours.

Shoba will be cooking a Kerelan king prawn curry served with Naan bread.

1.00pm - Paolo Belloni, Wild Carrot restaurant at the Four Seasons

The Wild Carrot restaurant is named after the dainty white wildflower that grows plentifully in the fields of Dogmersfield Park.

Serving contemporary British dishes, made only with the finest seasonal produce found in Hampshire markets and further afield, Wild Carrot welcomes you to enjoy contemporary British cooking with the benefits of traditional Italian mastery.

Under the guidance of Paolo Belloni, the menu features some of the staples of British cuisine, prepared using traditional Italian techniques. Paolo’s love for the cuisine of “la campagna” (countryside) is showcased in each dish, creating connections to the local landscape through ingredients, presentation and local flavour profiles.

Paying homage to the historical surroundings of the Four Seasons, Wild Carrot effortlessly fuses countryside charm and simple but delicious cooking with a sophisticated dining experience. Enjoy a welcoming and elegant service in a timeless setting, guaranteed to make you feel at ease.

2.00pm - Andrew Ryder, chef proprietor of The Phoenix Inn in Hartley Wintney

Andrew believes in serving food that our grandparents would recognise, and the menu at The Phoenix reflects his passion for British staples, and seasonal produce. He has been a regular in the cookery theatre from the first Fleet Food Festival, sharing his passion of fresh, local ingredients and entertaining the audience with his larger than life character. 

At this year’s Food Festival Andrew will be showcasing a whole prime fillet of beef from Hockley farm in Odiham, cooking 3 of the popular dishes from The Phoenix menu, with his usual chaotic, fun style.

3.00pm -Paula Wood, Paula Wood Nutrition

Paula Wood is a freelance registered dietitian with over 20 years of experience in helping adults optimise their health and wellbeing through balanced nutrition.

“Healthy eating” is an area that is now becoming very confusing for many people; there is so much conflicting information around with many “nutrition experts” offering nutritional advice that is based on their own experiences and not the available scientific evidence. This often means the exclusion of certain foods or food groups which can put us at risk of nutritional deficiencies.

Paula will be explaining the rationale behind healthy eating and what we can do to achieve it…..busting some myths about diet along the way!

4.00pm - Abi, The Golden Pot

The Golden Pot specialises in fresh fish as a daily special. With a fish delivery 6 days a week they usually have a selection of 7 or 8 main dishes and will gladly order your favourite fish for you if you let them know in advance (subject to availability). They also have an extensive range of meat and vegetarian dishes.

Abi will be demonstrating 2 fish dishes – Swordfish with a lemon butter sauce and halibut baked in a herb and cream parcel. She will also demonstrate how to make a delicious homemade tartar sauce.

Sunday 23rd June

12.00pm - Sisi Ryder, The Phoenix Inn

Sisi has mastered the art of Persian cuisine, and once a year to celebrate The Persian New year in March atThe Phoenix Inn, which she co-owns with her husband Andrew.

Sisi’s demo features classic Persian food. She will be showing us the marinades for kebabs, cooking rice, aubergine caviar, yogurt dips, and using an abundance of fresh herbs.

1.00pm - Carol Southwell, IC Mushrooms

Carol from IC Mushroms will be using their very own dried and fresh mushrooms to make a vegetarian dish of mushroom, garlic and herb risotto. While this is cooking Carol will also make a vegan dish of mushroom steak with a variety of sauces including BBQ.

IC Mushrooms grow and sell fresh oyster mushrooms, dried herb or spiced oyster mushrooms and we make our guaranteed to grow oyster mushroom grow boxes for people to grow mushrooms at home.

2.00pm - Charlie Gardner, The Cold Pressed Oil Company and Oli Poulton Love2Eat2

Charlie will be joined by Oli Poulton from Love2eat2 and will be cooking quick dishes for a busy family including a truffle pesto with pasta and either a haloumi or a fish dish.

The Cold Pressed Oil Company produce the finest quality Cold Pressed Rapeseed oil using seed grown and harvested on their farm. By using the traditional method of cold pressing they ensure that nothing is added or taken away. The result is a deliciously flavored natural oil that complements any dish.

Love2eat2 are a bespoke dinner party and private chef service, that can cater for all your dreams and aspirations of a perfect dinner party or event.

The essence of Hungry Buddha is to find Thai food in the UK like back home and to share the values that they share as a family which are reflected in their business “We love varieties of cuisines, enjoy food of good quality, expect good service and care for the environment”.

Come and enjoy the car show at this year’s Food Festival with cars and a motorbike or two parked by The Views for you to admire, speak to the owners.
