Fleet BID achieves British BIDs’ accreditation

We are delighted to announce that the Fleet Business Improvement District has achieved British BIDs’ accreditation.

The independent audit focuses on transparency, accountability, financial management and business engagement within BIDs. It underlines the added value that Fleet BID delivers and provides evidence of quality management and return on investment through service delivery.

Emma Molyneux, Chair, Fleet BID said, “The award is a great achievement, being one of only 17 BIDs to have received this accreditation. It is recognition of the commitment of the volunteer Board members and the small team at the BID to ensuring the town’s BID is well managed, and works with levy payers and partners while representing the interests of the town and our businesses. While we are always looking to improve, the award confirms we have good solid foundations in place for the future.”

We are  delighted that Professor Christopher Turner, Chief Executive of British BIDs will be attending our levy payer meeting to make a formal presentation of our certificate in May.
