We are just so proud to be bringing Elles Bailey back to The Harlington once more. Elles was the first artist to perform for The Underground Music Club and we have been lucky enough to welcome her on a number of occasions since, including her outstanding full band show last November. Elles continues to confirm her status as the hardest-working woman in blues, rock and roots music. While others buckled and bowed under two years of disruption and inactivity, Elles continued to write several new chapters in a remarkable story.

The Bristol-based singer, songwriter and bandleader has powered her way to the forefront of the British blues and roots scene in recent years, and the tale of the tape just gets more impressive by the month. A relentless touring schedule throughout 2018/19 included tours with Grammy Award winning Mike Farris, Kris Barras and Martin Harley, with her own headline tours of the UK and Europe making people sit up and take serious notice. She has also moved her way up the festival listings, becoming a featured artist at key festivals throughout the UK and Europe including Black Deer, Swing Wesplaar, Ramblin Man Fair & the Great British R&B Festival, not to mention slots at Nashville’s Americana Fest 2019. And 2021 just got better, with mainstage and headline slots at Red Rooster. Cheltenham Music/Jazz Fest, Basel Blues, Love Rocks, British Country Music Festival, Chagstock and Uckfield Blues.

In 2022 Elles continues to play prestigious events, including Joe Bonamassa’s ‘Keep the Blues Alive at Sea Cruise’ in August.

And the awards keep on coming. After picking up numerous gongs at The UK Blues Awards, UK Americana Awards and European Blues Awards in recent years, she has recently been nominated once more as the ‘Blues Vocalist of the Year’ at the 2022 UK Blues Awards.

2022 also sees the eagerly-awaited third album ‘Shining in the Half Light’, which signals yet another significant step forward in a career already feted with awards and acclaim generated by her two previous studio sets, 2017’s Wildfire and 2019’s Road I Call Home. The difficult ‘third album’ scenario has proved not to be an issue for Elles, with the new offering attracting positive reviews from respected muso journalists and fans alike. Indeed that fan base just keeps on growing as the Bailey Midas touch continues to impress all in her path.

This is a hometown show for Elles (spiritually, if not geographically) and I ask you to come along and give her the party she deserves.
