Smart Works is a national charity run by recruitment and fashion experts to help unemployed women in need to get jobs. Since opening its Reading operation in October 2015 the charity has helped over 200 women in the Thames Valley region. Women are referred to Smart Works from organisations such as job centres, work programmes, prisons, care homes, homeless shelters and mental health charities and often suffering from a lack of confidence in their own abilities.

Smart Works’ philosophy is “Get the Clothes. Get the Confidence. Get the Job” and they give women the confidence, the self-belief and the practical tools they require to succeed at interview and start a new chapter of their life by providing a quality interview outfit as well as professional interview coaching.
